Central Electoral Committee: 30 acting community leaders suffered losses
In 179 communities out of 229 the acting community leaders were reelected to their posts at the local self-government elections held in five regions of Armenia on September 18.
According to data, released by Central Electoral Committee of Armenia, in 30 communities acting community leaders suffered losses, while in 20 communities they didn’t nominated at all.
In Aragatsotn region elections were held in 80 villages and towns where 12 acting leaders were not reelected, another 6 didn’t nominated.
In 63 communities of Ararat region 7 acting community leaders were not reelected and in five of the communities they didn’t nominate their candidacy for the second term.
In Armavir, local elections were held in 57 communities, with 45 reelected in their posts and seven suffered losses.
