Exhibition entitled “TimeXtimeXtimeX” opened at Artists' Union of Armenia
Exhibition of the works by Armenian sculptor, artist Gevorg Mshetsi-Javrushyan entitled “TimeXtimeXtimeX” was opened today at Artists' Union of Armenia in Yerevan.
The exhibition, which will be open until October 9, is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Armenia’s Independence.
The exhibition showcases a collection of collages created by the author.
Gevorg Mshetsi-Javrushyan told reporters that his collages narrate about the time expressed through the past, the present and the future.
“This is the result of the 30 years of my work,” he said.
The collages are mainly made of calculators and chairs. The artist refused to disclose the idea beyond the exhibits, instead giving a chance to the visitors to guess.
To note, Gevorg Mshetsi-Javrushyan is a member of Artists' Union of Armenia. His works have previously been presented in more than 20 personal and group exhibitions. Some of his works are kept in in museums of Armenia and Russia as well as in private collections in France, Canada, Sweden, Switzerland, Iran, Cyprus, etc.
