Armenian neighborhoods shelled in worn-torn Aleppo
Several Armenian-populated districts were shelled on Friday, Aleppo's Kantsasar paper said in a Facebook post. According to the source, the attack left several killed and wounded.
“Today, in the morning hours armed militant groups shelled Armenian-populated neighborhoods of Nor Kiugh (New Village) and Vilyaner,“ the report reads, adding students of one of educational facilities were moved to relatively secure place.
As the report goes on, in Vilyaner districts one of the rockets hit an house next to an Armenian Church, leaving unknown number of killed and injured civilians.
