“World of fairy tales” at Hovhannes Tumanyan Museum
“World of fairy tales” interactive exhibition organized by the Goethe-Institute was opened today at Hovhannes Tumanyan Museum in Yerevan. The touring exhibition consisting of fairy tale posters and teaching materials for children has arrived in Yerevan after a tour throughout the world.

As the organizers told the exhibition will be of interest not only for children and German specialists but also designers and architects, since the exhibits are displayed in innovative and creative solutions.
Narine Tukhikyan, Director at Hovhannes Tumanyan Museum, said that was no accident that the famous fairy tale collection by the Brothers Grimm was displayed in their museum.
Armenia’s deputy Minister of Culture Nerses Ter-Vardanyan on his part highlighted the role of interactive exhibitions and performances, which along with classic exhibitions those bring new approaches. Children can be part of a game and action.
The deputy minister next pointed out to the active cooperation in the culture sphere between Germany and Armenia both at the state level as well as at the level of organizations, like with the Goethe-Institute.
The exhibition will be open until October 31. By then German films will be screened at the museum as well.
