
RA President appoints new Ministers
On Monday, October 3 President of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree on the appointment of Chief of the Presidential Staff, Vigen Sargsyan Defense Minister.
By signing similar decrees, President Sargsyan appointed Chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Yuri Khachaturov Secretary of the National Security Council, Movses Hakobyan - Chief of General Staff.
Former Secretary of the National Security Council, Armen Gevorgyan replaced Vigen Sargsyan as Chief of the Presidential Staff.
According to a similar decree, acting Foreign Minister, Edward Nalbandian was reappointed.
