Brusov Readings 15th International Conference to be held on October 6-8
On October 6-8, Brusov Readings 15th International Conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of publication of “Armenian Poetry: From Ancient Times to Present Days” will be held at Yerevan State Brusov University of Languages and Social Sciences. The Armenian presentation of the facsimile edition of the anthology will be held during the conference. The book was published on the order of the RA Ministry of Culture. It was recently presented at the International Book Fair in Moscow, press service of the RA Ministry of Culture informs.
The conference is organized by Yerevan State Brusov University of Languages and Social Sciences with the support of the State Committee of Science, the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Armenia, YSLU Alumni Association, the Union of Armenians of Russia and Antares holding.
Brusov Readings International Conference brings together scientists from Georgia, Russia, Ukraine, the USA, France, Czech Republic, Poland and Japan. Within the framework of the conference, presentation of the website of Brusov Science Center will be held. Excursions will be organized, during which the participants will visit Martiros Saryan House-Museum, Armenian Genocide Memorial, Oshakan.
The activity of Brusov Scientific Centre was enhanced and extended by traditional Brusov Readings pioneered in 1962 and later regularly held in Yerevan (in 1971, 2006, 2013 the Readings were held in Moscow, in 1989, 1994—in Stavropol).
