Nikol Pashinyan: The suppliers of the Defense Ministry gain super-profits
During today’s extraordinary session of the National Assembly lawmaker Nikol Pashinyan turned to the complaints made by Vardenis residents regarding the potato price.
The MP reminded that last Thursday the villagers blocked Vardenis-Yerevan highway claiming that the suppliers of the Defense Ministry gain super-profits, while they buy the potato from them at lower cost totaling to 40-45 AMD.
“This morning I have check out to make sure that the potato is delivered to the Defense Ministry at the price of 80-104 AMD per a kilogram. I am sure that there is a serious issue in this field and the speakers of the NA should start giving consultations to the Defense Ministry, as the villagers are about to face bankruptcy once more,” Nikol Pashinyan noted.
