 Prioritizing the issue of preservation and promotion of Armenian professional music Composers Union of Armenia is working towards the integration into the global culture expanding the scope of professional cooperation with different countries.

Composers Union of Armenia informed Panorama.am that within the framework of “Collaboration” Armenian-Chinese project this year the Armenian delegation of composers headed by the union’s president Aram Satyan, Chief of Staff Svetlana Aleksanyan and Chairman of the Foreign Committee Levon Chaushian have visited China to take part in the concert during which the works created by the composers of the two countries have been performed by the Chinese composers.

The delegation had official meetings in Beijing during which preliminary agreements on future cooperation have been reached.

Notably within the framework of “Collaboration” Armenian-Chinese project in June of this year Composers Union of Armenia received the Chinese delegation of composers. Armenian-Chinese contemporary music festival was held within the project.
