8th ReAnimania International Festival of Yerevan kicks off paying tribute to the memory of Sevan Naghashian
“Association European Animation Pride Awards has been established recently. The association involves 40 countries, including Armenia. Each country has its own representative. Armenia is represented by Vrej Kassouny, Director of ReAnimania International Festival of Yerevan,” President and Secretary General of Association European Animation Pride Awards Jean-Paul Commin told in his welcome speech during 8th ReAnimania International Animation & Comics Art Festival of Yerevan which has kicked off recently.
During the press conference held ahead of the festival he mentioned that the association aims at handing over awards to the experts of film production sphere with the best technical specialization.
Festival participants paid tribute to the memory of painter, animator, ReAnimania team member Sevan Naghashyan by screening a video of his paintings. Notably Sevan Naghashyan passed away on 13 October.
8th ReAnimania International Animation & Comics Art Festival of Yerevan will continue till 3 November. 450 films have been screen during the festival.
