Situation on the frontline
During the weekend the adversary violated the ceasefire regime along the Line of Contact between Armenian-Azerbaijani opposing troops for 100 times. Around 2300 shots were fired towards the Armenian frontier troops from weapons of different calibers. As NKR Defense Army Press Service informs a group of Azerbaijan servicemen were seen demining in the northern neutral zone of the Line of Contact.
As a result of the retaliatory actions undertaken by the frontier troops of the Defense Army the adversary was forced to retreat. The Vanguard Units continue fully controlling the frontline and carrying out their military duty.
