“Consistent activities will be carried out in high mountainous and bordering areas. The activities will particularly be directed to the development of different business forms and efficient usage of natural resources in the agricultural sector due to the co-funding of planned programs,” Minister of Agriculture noted.
Ignati Arakelyan mentioned that in comparison with 2016 state budget the ministry has offered 7 percent savings in 2017.
According to him the sum allocated to the subsidy of diesel fuel and fertilizers will be reduced, which is not related to the amount of diesel fuel and fertilizers, but to the reduction in their prices.
“We allocate subsidy of diesel fuel and fertilizers, but the subsidies are to be directed to the development of the agriculture and business,” he noted.
