Women complain of the activities of Service for Compulsory Enforcement of Judicial Acts
Today the women who have been affected by the activities of the Service for Compulsory Enforcement of Judicial Acts, as well as the member of the “Coalition to stop Violence against Women” NGO have organized a rally in front of the government building. They claim that there are numerous court verdicts that have not been enforced so far.
Nena Harutyunyan told Panorama.am that the biological father of her baby had taken it to his house from the hospital. The mother states that she has not seen her child for five months.
“I have a court ruling that has taken effect, but it is not enforced by the Service for Compulsory Enforcement. I have an instruction issued by the inspector stating that the baby must be given to me by police officers and trusteeship bodies, but they fail to do it. Currently the state bodies are not even aware of the location of my child,” L. Harutyunyan noted.
Notably on 1 November women protested in front of the building of the Service for Compulsory Enforcement of Judicial Acts of the Ministry of Justice. They claim that very often when the judicial acts refer to children the service fails to perform its duties or performs some activities out of its liabilities.
