Armenian FM meets with Advisor General of German Chancellor
Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian had a meeting with Germany’s Advisor General of Chancellor on Foreign Political and Security issues Christoph Heusgen on Thursday in Berlin.
As the press statement released by the foreign ministry reads, Nalbandian and Heusgen exchanged views on Armenian-German relations and prospects of their development.
At the meeting a detailed conversation was held on the international and regional issues.
FM Nalbandian presented Armenia’s and OSCE Minsk Group efforts aimed at creating favorable conditions for moving forward the process of the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
The interlocutors reflected on the current situation in the Middle East, issues related to the protection of minorities and assistance to refugees.
The parties also touched upon Armenia-EU relations and the ongoing negotiations about the new legal foundation, reads the statement.
