Armenia, Russia to form joint group of forces in Caucasus
Russia and Armenia plan to set up a joint group of forces in the Caucasus collective security region, Interfax Agency reported.
According to the source, the relevant document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information on Tuesday.
"The sides will create a joint group of forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in order to ensure the sides' security in the Caucasus region of collective security," the two countries' draft agreement, which was submitted to the Russian president for signature, says.
