Marca: Mkhitaryan no more the hero of Old Trafford after the injury
The Spanish leading Marca newspaper writes about Armenian national and Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan and the situation around him.
The paper, and the fans alike consider a mystery what has gone with the Armenian player, who has spent just 133 minutes on the pitch within four months after the outstanding performance in Borussia Dortmund.
“Any player needs a time to recover from an injury, get fitness and be back to the pitch, yet the Man UTD coach Jose Mourinho states Mkhitaryan has recovered and then suggests he still needs time. It remains unconceivable what is going on with one the most expensive summer signings, yet it is clear Henrikh Mkhitaryan is no more the hero of Old Trafford,” writes the newspaper.
Added to that, the Spanish paper wonders that such a world-class player has no place on the bench that appears to be neither a matter of injury nor fitness, remaining a puzzle yet to be solved.
