Italy wishes to see no military actions in the region, Paolo Gentiloni says
Italy insists on the peaceful and diplomatic resolution of the Karabakh conflict, the country’s Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni stated on Tuesday during the joint press conference with Armenian FM Edward Nalbandyan. “We totally reject the military actions in the region,” Gentiloni added.
The Italian FM, who is on a visit to Armenia, next reaffirmed his support to the OSCE Minsk Group efforts.
Paolo Gentiloni informed Italy is about to take the OSCE co-chairmanship in several months and the chairmanship - in 2018, saying the ‘frozen conflicts’ would be in the focus of their attention.
