Henrikh Mkhitaryan: If I give up I will nullify my accomplishments
Armenian National team captain and Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan confesses he has less playing time at Old Trafford, however that doesn’t keep him from fulfilling his dreams.
Mkhitaryan’s comments came in response to reporters request to assess his situation in Manchester United, where he played in total 133 minutes in four months after the summer transfer from Borussia Dortmund.
“That is true, I have less playing time, however that is not a barrier. Everything is OK. I have passed a long way to get there, thus nothing keeps me away from fulfilling my dreams, If I give up, I will nullify my accomplishments. I try to find strength in the situation and I will do everything to achieve my goal,” Mkhitaryan said.
To note, Henrikh Mkhitaryan became today United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEFF) Goodwill Ambassador to advocate for children’s rights. Mkhitaryan’s appointment ceremony was held on Wednesday in Yerevan, where the football player vowed to stand by disadvantaged families and to struggle for children’s equal rights and opportunities.
