Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan issued instructions on Thursday to the head of the State Cadaster and the minister of Economic Development and Investments.

During the cabinet session Prime Minister Karapetyan tasked the head of the State Cadaster to present a package of suggestions on the establishment of state information system to be considered by the Armenian government. The initiative is aimed at providing information to the business community in the simplified way.

The Prime Minister next suggested the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments to cooperate with Armenia's public services regulatory commission to assess the perspectives of connecting the business to the public services.

“The case here is to have an opportunity for any citizen or a business to get online information about the infrastructure to set up a business in a certain area. It should be related to information regarding the electricity, water, gas, etc. I suggest the Cadaster to discuss with the representatives of the infrastructure services and the business the possibilities over establishing such a system,” Prime Minister said, adding the latter could also make their part of financial input in the suggested initiative.
