Aram Khachaturian's and Ashot Babayan's compositions to be performed in Mariinsky Theatre
The famous composition "Masquerade" by prominent Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian will be performed in Mariinsky Theatre. During the concert to be held on 15 November the concertos composed by contemporary Armenian composer Ashot Babayan will also be performed (soloist Irina Ivanova).
Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra will lead the concert (Conductor: Nikolai Khondzinsky). The Composers' Union of Armenia informed Panorama.am.
The compositions of Georgy Sviridov, Galina Ustvolskaya and Boris Tchaikovsky will also be performed during the concert.
