Situation on the Line of Contact under control, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces says
The situation on the frontline is the same as it has been for the last 24 years, Chief of RA Armed Forces GS Lieutenant General Movses Hakobyan told reporters at a briefing on Tuesday
“The situation is under control and no changes have been recorded over the past years with no anything extraordinary,” Lieutenant General Hakobyan said when asked to comment on the situation along the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan.
Asked whether the tensions of the pasted days have been conditioned with the unprecedented drills conducted by Azerbaijani forces, Hakobyan referred to the planned nature of those exercises. “We closely follow the ongoing exercises and make relevant conclusions,” Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces said.
