Iran and Armenia sign agreement on free movement of vehicles
Iran and Armenia have signed an agreement on free movement of vehicles. Iranian MEHR news agency reports.
As the Iranian agency informs Head of Iran's Customs Administration Masoud Karbasian has signed an agreement on free movement of vehicles between Armenia and Iran during his visit to Armenia. The agreement prescribes movement of vehicles throughout the two countries without permission and mortgage.
Notably RA Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan recently announced that Iran is not only Armenia's ally but also one of the important partners of our country.
The Premier has informed that a working group will be formed to discuss the issues regarding the promotion of exporting goods (namely food and agricultural products) from Armenia to Iran with the Iranian side, as well as prospects of establishing a free economic zone in the territory bordering Iran will be touched upon.
