Helicopter dropping children’s letters calling to stop the war in Syria’s Aleppo
A helicopter has dropped some 6,000 leaflets illustrated with colorful papers and heart sticks, which appeared to be letters by children calling to stop the war in a worn-town city of Aleppo, Syria.
According to the report by TASS agency, instead of calling on the militants to surrender, the leaflets contained unique stories of the residents living under constant fire.
The agency quotes a letter from Rahmi Rubin, a student of a Muslim educational center, that reads: “My brother served in the Syrian army. He received a sniper gunshot in his heart. We buried, yet unable to forget him”.
