Armenian schools of Aleppo to remain closed until 28 November
Upon the decision of the national council of the Armenian Diocese of Aleppo, Armenian schools of Aleppo will be closed until 28 November for security considerations.
As Arevelk reports, such a decision has been made as a result of the escalated situation in Aleppo.
The source of the news agency has also informed that Aleppo has been under bombardment till late at night yesterday. The rockets hit the neighborhoods of two schools causing serious damages.
The source has also informed that a rocket has hit one of the buildings with Armenian and other Christian residents. The majority of the residents of the damaged buildings have abandoned then and left for Canada.
Earlier it was reported that the Syrian authorities have dropped leaflets towards the eastern regions of Aleppo calling upon the militants to surrender. The authorities have promised to provide medical assistance to the injured militants if they surrender.
