Concrete steps should be taken to realize the existing potential for the further development of the economic cooperation between Armenia, China, Armenian Prime Minister stated today at a meeting with Ambassador of People’s Republic of China to Armenia Tian Erlong.

According to the release, issued by the government press service, Prime Minister Karapetyan highlighted the continuous expansion and activation of the relations between the two countries.

At the meeting, Karapetyan pointed to possibilities of attracting the Chinese business in number of infrastructure projects in Armenia, expressing readiness on behalf of the government to discuss in detail all the relevant proposals.

In Karen Karapetyan’s words, Armenia may serve an important platform for the Chinese business in terms of entering the third countries.

Ambassador Tian Erlong referred to his mission to promote the development of the Armenian-Chinese relations with a particular focus on the economic collaboration in different directions.  The Ambassador also promised to convey the message of the Prime Minister to the Chinese leadership.
