Babujian and Gabrielyan continue pursuing the leader
Pavlodar Open International Chess Tournament is underway in Kazakhstan. This year 91 chess players, including 12 grand masters and 8 international masters, participate in the tournament. Armenian Grand Master Levon Babujian and Armenian Artur Gabrielyan representing Russia also take part in the competition.
As chessped.am reports, Round 5 of Pavlodar Open took place yesterday. GM Levon Babujian won his game against Evgeny Egorov and Artur Gabrielyan defeated Vitaly Boiarintsev.
After 5 rounds GMs Levon Babujian and Artur Gabrielyan scored 4 points each and are half a point behind the sole leader of the tournament Alexander Zubarev.
