Permanent representatives of Armenia participate in Annual International Bazaar in Geneva
The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Armenia to UN Office at Geneva participated in the Annual International Bazaar organized by the UN Women's Guild (UNWG).
As the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports, the Armenian stand presented goods produced in Armenia, particularly Armenian cognac, best pieces of craftsmanship, different souvenirs presenting Armenia’s culture and history.
Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva Michael Møller, President of the UN Human Rights Council Choi Kyonglim, heads of a number of international organizations and diplomatic representations accredited in Geneva, as well as other guests have visited the Armenian stand.
The funds raised from the sale of the Armenian goods will be donated to UN Women’s Guild Foundation for the financing of the UN charity projects for disadvantaged children throughout the world.
