Photo exhibition featuring Medieval Armenian city of Ani held in Canada
Photo exhibition entitled “Voyage to Ani - Medieval Capital of Armenia” was held in the Embassy of Armenia to Canada, featuring the photos of the historic archaeological site of Ani, included in UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites.
As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports, the exhibition was attended by Armenian and Canadian art, public, political figures as well as diplomats, reporters and representatives of the local Armenian community.
Armenian Ambassador to Canada Armen Yeganyan expressed gratitude to Mkrtich Mkrtchyan, chairman at Toronto affiliate of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund for the realization of the exhibition, highlighting his years-long activity and commitment for Armenia’s and Artsakh development.
Ambassador Yeganyan next reflected on the rich cultural heritage of Ani city, while Mkrtich Mkrtchyan presented the city history and architecture, churches and the panorama photos taken during his numerous visits to the city.
