Reconstruction works in Talish village are underway, Artsakhpress reports
It is already one week that a group of Talish residents have resettled in their native village and some activities aimed at renovating the houses and other infrastructures of the village are underway. The former head of Talish community Vilen Petrosyan informed Artsakhpress about this.
As the Artsakh Public Television reports, Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan, who paid a visit to Talish village on 26 November, convened a working consultation in Talish, noting that all the measures are to be taken to renovate the village. The consultation was attended by Ministers of Economy and Urban Planning of NKR, Head of Martakert Region, government representative in Talish, other officials, as well as Talish villagers.
President was informed about the restoration of water supply system in the village. NKR President gave new assignments regarding the renovation works in the village.
“As of now the electric power supply in the village has completely been restored. In the coming days the water supply system will also be restored,” NKR Minister of Economy Andranik Khachatryan has noted.
According to Karen Shahramanyan, Minister of Urban Planning of NKR, large-scale construction works will be carried out in several directions of Talish village in the coming several months. The highway heading to the village is being renovated as well.
“We have ordered a new planning project according to which the village will have a separate kindergarten, events hall, the entire village will be renovated. The building of village hall is also under construction. The school, which will be located in the same building, will operate from 1 September 2017. We need to get rid of all the destroyed buildings of the village and to renovate all the residential buildings and the community roads,” NKR Minister of Urban Planning noted adding that in case of necessity they will construct new residential buildings will all facilities.
