Bustan al-Basha district of Aleppo liberated from ISIS militants
On 28 November the Bustan al-Basha district of Aleppo located near the Armenian neighborhood New Village was liberated from the ISIS militants and is currently under the control of the Syrian army. Arevelk news agency reports referring to the Syrian State Television.
According to the source the Bustan al-Basha district is entirely under the control of the Syrian army forces.
It is noted that a large number of ISIS militants have fled to Turkey after the liberation of the district. The source reports that the Syrian army managed to reach till Holivk, an area at the end of the liberated district. To note the battles aimed at liberating Bustan al-Basha began one month ago.
Referring to the RF Ministry of Defense the Lebanese TV channel Al-Zhatit informs that some 70 militants have surrendered to the Syrian army.
It is also mentioned that due to the liberation of Bustan al-Basha the Armenian neighborhoods will become safer.
