Armenian soldier dies in hospital after months-long struggle for life
Armenian serviceman Narek Asatryan who received a gunshot wound to the head months ago, died today in Central Clinical Military Hospital of Yerevan.
Spokesperson to Defense Minister Artsrun Hovhannisyan informed Panorama.am the soldier had participated in the April war and was fatally wounded by the adversary after the active phase of the military actions.
Asatryan has been in hospital over the last several months.
“All doctors of Armenia did their best to save Narek’s life, unfortunately, that didn’t happen,” Hovhannisyan said.
