Hrant Dink murder suspect Eran Tuncel publishes book
Eran Tuncel, one of the key suspects of the murder of Hrank Dink, editor in chief of Istanbul-based Armenian weekly Agos, has published a book about Dink’s assassination.
Referring to the Turkish T24 news agency, Ermenihaber reports that through his book entitled “Behind the Scenes of Hrant Dink murder and America’s Janissaries”, Tuncel has tried to shed a light upon the murder.
He has denied his participation in Dink’s murder in his book by noting the following: “We were not murderers actually. I was the first person to speak against Dink’s assassination and to take the first concrete step. However we were named key suspects of the murder by some union, which is currently called Fethullah Gülen Terrorist Organisation (the Turkey media labels the community founded by famous Turkish preacher Fethullah Gülen who is living in the USA in this way).”
The source reminds that in the testimony provided by Eran Tuncel in 2013 he blamed Head of Turkey's Police Intelligence Ramazan Akyürek and his criminal group for Dink’s murder.
