Armenia received humanitarian aid worth US $42 million in January-October 2016
According to the custom declarations data provided by the State Customs Committee under RA Government for the period of January-September 2016, 7 039.8 tones of goods were imported into Armenia as humanitarian aid with total value of 20 136.2 milliard AMD or $42 040.9 million.
According to data released by Armenia’s National Statistical Service (NSS), 52.6% of the received aid comprised products of chemical and related industries, 14.7%- articles of textile, 7.5% - different industrial products, 6.8% - machinery and equipment, 13.5% - other goods.
For the period of January-October 2016, the US share of the provided humanitarian aid to Armenia has comprised 18.6%, 24.3% came from the EU countries, 18.3% – from Switzerland, 14.7% - from China.
