Lacking natural resources, Armenia advances by virtue of its talented people, Leonid Roshal says
“Everything related to Armenia runs like a red thread through my life. I have used to be here both on happy and sad occasions. I was wondering the other day that Armenia has no oil, gold, yet is has stones, mountains and advances by virtue of its talented people,” Director of Russia’s National Research Centre for Emergency Children’s Surgery and Traumatology and President of the National Medical Chamber Leonid Roshal told on Tuesday in Yerevan.
Leonid Roshal addressed a discussion devoted to children occurred in dire conditions during various disasters and terrorist incidents, presenting his and his team’s mission in different parts of the world. The event was attended by the professorship, the students of the Yerevan State Medical University as well as the representatives of the healthcare system.
The renowned pediatrician spoke of his professional experience and service in different periods through his personal archived photos, showing children survived, treated and brought to full life. The photos gave an inspiring throwback to the chronicle of past disasters, catastrophes and terrorist incidents.
