NKR Ombudsman: The findings of the report are alarming for the international community
Executions for being an Armenian, mutilation of the bodies of Armenian civilians and servicemen both dead and alive as a result of the policy firmly based on the hatred towards the Armenian nation_ NKR Ombudsman Ruben Melikyan presented in detail the report issued today in Talish. The report presents the atrocities committed by the Azerbaijani forces against the Artsakh civilians and soldiers in Talish, Seysulan and Lele Tepe.
“Four incidents of atrocities have been registered in the north, one in the direction of Seysulan and two in the southern directions,” R. Melikyan noted.
He reminded that the Azerbaijani forces brutally murdered three civilians in Talish village torturing and mutilating the body of a 92-year-old woman. The Azerbajani saboteurs also attacked the military truck of the Defence Ministry.
“Two incidents of beheading took place: one was carried out posthumously in front of a still alive soldier and the other_ while the serviceman was alive,” Melkonyan presented the details.
The Ombudsman noted that findings of the report regarding the cases of torturing, mutilating and the three cases of beheading against the civilians and servicemen who appeared in the Azerbaijani control will be presented to the international human rights organizations.
“These activates were organized and coordinated previously. The findings if this report are alarming for the international community. The presented crimes should receive response from the international structures,” he added.
