Nobel Prize Award Ceremony to be broadcast live on Public Television of Armenia
On 10 December at 19:30 the Public Television of Armenia will live stream the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony, one of the most prestigious and expected events in the science sphere. The Public Relations Department of the Public TV reports that the event will be covered by Host of the Public Television Eric Antaranyan.
Nobel Prize Award Ceremony is an annual event during which Swedish and Norwegian committees give awards for the prominent achievements in science, culture, as well as for the contribution to the public development.
The Nobel Prize is also awarded in the following spheres: physics, chemistry, physiology and medicine, literature and peace. Since 1968 due to the support of the Central Bank of Sweden Nobel Prize has been awarded for achievements in the economy sphere.
The prize has been awarded since 1901. In 1901-2016 the Nobel Prize has been awarded 579 times.
