Armenian, Artsakh Presidents visit defense positions located near Mataghis and Talish
President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan visited today the defense positions located near Mataghis and Talish in one of the northern regions of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
As the press department of the President’s Office reported, the presidents listened to
the report of the commander. The Heads of the two Armenian Republics familiarized with the engineering constructions and the new technology aimed at the reliable protection of the defense positions.
President Serzh Sargsyan commended a number of servicemen who excelled during their service.
Later, the opening ceremony of a newly constructed barrack with adjacent objects took place in another NKR region. Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Bako Sahakyan next attended a concert for the troops on the drill ground with the participation of RA cultural and art representatives on a visit to Artsakh.
In the evening the RA and NKR Presidents were present at the event "Firm Faith, Strong Army, Protected Motherland" held at the Stepanakert Culture and Youth Palace.
