Composer Sofya Mikayelyan takes the third place at Choral Laboratory music competition
Composer Sofya Mikayelyan, member of the Union of Armenian Composers participated in “Choir Laboratory” composers’ competition in St. Petersburg, taking the third place. As Panorama.am learn from the Union of Armenian Composers, around 150 compositions participated in the competition from various regions of not only Russia, but also Belarus, Ukraine and Slovakia.
The Armenian representative participated also in composers’ competition after Roman Sladkoptsev and received a certificate of merit. It is noted, that Mikayelyan also performed a solo concert in northern capital of Russia.
