FIDE Open is over
Yesterday FIDE Open International Championship organized within London Chess Classic was completed. In the final round international master Davit Mirzoyan suffered a defeat and Armenian GMs Hrant Melkumyan and Robert Hovhannisyan drew their games. They have scored 6.5 points each and hold 10th and 11th positions respectively. Two chess players of France competed the chess tournament with 7.5 points. Etienne Bacrot held the lead of the table due to the additional points. Sébastien Mazé ranked the 2nd. 7 chess players share 3-9 places with 7 points. Aravindh Chithambaram from India, who held the lead of the table from the very beginning, lost his game in the final round and ended the tournament with 6.5 points ranking the 14th place.
