Henrikh Mkhitaryan is likely to be back for December 25 game
Armenian national team captain and Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan will be fit for the match against Sunderland in the round 18 of the Premier League on December 26, Manchester United’s press service reported, quoting the team boss José Mourinho’s update on the injuries.
Mourinho’s side will face West Brom today, while Mkhitaryan is out of the game. The Armenian scored the only goal of the game as United beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 at Old Trafford last Sunday. Mkhitaryan was carried off with a left ankle injury following a challenge from Danny Rose on 82 minutes.
To remind, Mkhitaryan has played in the last four matches of Manchester making two assists and scoring two goals.
