Rahimpour highly appreciates Armenia’s role in promoting Iran’s ties with Eurasian Economic Union
The meeting between Armenia’s and Iran’s Deputy Foreign Ministers has been held in Yerevan, ISNA Iranian news agency reports.
To note, Panoama.am has reported that Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia, Oceania and Commonwealth Independent of States Ebrahim Rahimpour paid a visit to Armenia after visiting Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
As the Iranian source reports during the meeting between the Deputy Foreign Ministers of Iran and Armenia Ebrahim Rahimpour and Shavarsh Kocharyan the sides have underscored the importance of deepening the friendly relations between the two countries giving positive assessment to the bilateral cooperation in political and economic spheres, as well as regarding the regional issues.
Turning to the visits set to be paid in the coming future, Rahimpour expressed confidence that they aimed at strengthening and deepening the relations between the two countries.
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister highly appreciated the role of Armenia played in promoting Iran’s ties with the Eurasian Economic Union.
RA Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan in his turn has welcomed the participation of Iranian companies in the projects implemented in Armenia.
ISNA reports that the Deputy Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Iran have underscored that Nagorno Karabakh conflict can only be settled through negotiations and political dialogue between the two sides.
