Special equipment for quality control of raw brandy imported to Armenia this year, A. Nikoyan says
During today’s concluding press conference Artur Nikoyan, Head of. Phytosanitary Inspectorate of the State Food Security Service informed that in 2016 over six thousand types of crops have been sampled in Armenian and later they have undergone phytosanitary examination.
“Before February 2017 all the results of the reports are to be submitted to the trading partner countries so as to avoid the bans on the exports of fruit and vegetables from our country,” he added.
Artur Nikoyan underscored that all the activates aimed at increasing the rating of the Armenian brandy which were carried out in this year. “In this year special equipment for quality control of raw brandy has been imported to Armenia. 10700 hectares of vineyards belonging to 20300 companies have been examined. It is expected that in 2017 we will take samples from the harvest during the grape maturation cycle, will make pomace and will introduce them to the isotopic composition of bank,” he added.
He also added the service actively cooperates with the countries of Eurasian Economic Union.
