Naira Zohrabyan: Inhabitants of Gyumri's Antaravan district are evacuating their children
During today’s extraordinary session convened in the Armenian’s Parliament MP of "Prosperous Armenia" Party Naira Zohrabyan alerted on the horrible conditions of the buildings located in several neighborhoods of Gyumri.
“Building 26 located in Gyumri’s Antaravan 3 District, is in the 4th level, or rather in the 400th level of emergency condition. People started evacuating their children,” MP noted.
In her words there are other buildings in Gyumri which are in similar conditions. She added that ahead of the New Year people will have to gather in front of the government building and put up tents there.
“I make this statement as an alert. During the last snowfall the entire snow has penetrated into the houses. If this issues is not tacked quickly we may face a serious threat, as the building might collapse on the inhabitants,” she added.
NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan interrupted her speech and offered her to discuss the issue during the break.
