Armenian participants win awards at 3rd Minsk International Christmas Singing Competition
3rd Minsk International Christmas Singing Competition has been held in Minsk, Belarus. Lusine Makaryan and Tigran Ohanyan, participants of “Youth Opera” program of Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after A. Spendiarian, have represented Armenia in this prestigious competition due to the support provided by RA Ministry of Culture and “Young Talent Support” Foundation.
As the Ministry of Culture reports Tigran Ohanyan (tenor) has been named the winner being awarded with Grand Prix of the prestigious competition which featured 120 singers from 16 countries. Lusine Makaryan was awarded the Diploma of Honor and Levon Djavadian, Director of the “Youth Opera” program of Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after A. Spendiarian, has received the award “Best Concertmaster”.
