“Forgotten New Year” fairy tale performed in Yerevan Theater of the Young Spectator
Yerevan Theater of the Young Spectator, headed by RA Honored Artist Hakob Ghazanchyan, has made a Christmas present to the children and the teenagers. Panorama.am was informed from the theatre administration that the “Forgotten New Year” fairy tale by Garnik Seyranyan has been performed in the theatre.
“It is well known that the development of the new technologies make people, namely children, addicted to them. Thus the children ignore their primary job, which is studying. The leading character of this performance Knkush has never attended school, she is an illiterate and soiled child. One day she meets with the gardener of the palace David, who is a dreamy young man. He inspires the princess with his dreams and goals. This play once more states that only an educated and good-mannered child can achieve all the goals in front of him,” Garnik Seyranyan noted.
According to him every child must pursue a dream which is to serve the dream of creating a powerful country. “Lost is the country which has lost its dream.”
Stage designer is Anton Keshishian, the music compositions are provided by Ishkhan Gharibyan, dance performance is choreographed by Naira Hovhannisyan.
