Armenian actress Jenya Mkrtumyan dies in hospital
Today Armenian actress Jenya Mkrtumyan, more known to the public with her character name “Jemma” played in Armenian sitcom called “Kargin Serial” (Cool Serial), has died in the Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center.
The Medical Center told Panorama.am that the actress paid a regular visit to hospital today. However her health condition worsened abruptly and the staff did not manage to take any measures.
Jenya Mkrtumyan was born on 10 July 1948. She is the grandchild of actress Arus Voskanyan and is the mother of singer Maya Margaryan. She was an actress of the National Academic Theater after Gabriel Sundukyan.
“We lost a very talented actress and another friend of us. Rest in peace, dear Jenya,” actor Mkrtich Arzumanyan has noted in his facebook post.
