Hrach Berberyan: Snow created favourable conditions for agriculture
“No cases of severe crop frost have been registered as of now and the snowfall created favourable conditions for agriculture,” Agrarian Union NGO Chairman Hrach Berberyan has noted during today’s press conference.
In his words if the villagers had not protected the grapes from the frost the crop would have frozen naturally. “But as they have been warned to carry out protective measures in advance, I think the villagers have followed the alerts. Our studies come to prove it and we have no issues regarding the grape frost,” he noted.
Agrarian Union NGO Chairman thinks that the crop frost did not take place even when the temperature dropped to -22 degrees.
Speaking about the fight against the rodents he noted that it was poorly organized this year.
