PM Karapetyan pays a visit to military posts ahead of holidays
Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan has paid a visit to one of the military posts of the Defence Ministry ahead of the New Year and Christmas.
As the Information and Public Relations Department of the Government reports, PM Karapetyan got acquainted with the living conditions of the servicemen and chatted with them on the matters interesting to them over a cup of tea. Karen Karapetyan congratulated the servicemen of the Armenian army on the upcoming holidays and thanked them for their devoted service. PM noted that the Armenian people are proud of our servicemen who defend the state borders of our country with responsibility and pride. Karen Karapetyan underscored that the servicemen are always under the spotlight of the state.
“We shall have a very good country, don’t ever doubt about it regardless of all the problems and difficulties. We are highly concerned for you to be proud when fulfilling your duty, your service, as there is no greater satisfaction for an individual who loves his country if he serves it. During my working experience I have led small and large enterprises and the life has been easier, however if in this position I am be able to feel satisfaction over my service, then there is no greater assessment and pleasure despite all the sleepless nights and hard conditions, missing the family time,” Armenian PM noted.
Turning to the Azerbaijani sabotage infiltration attempt on the Armenia-Azerbaijan state border PM Karen Karapetyan noted that the personnel of the military post fulfilled their combat duty at the cost of heroism and self-sacrifice defending our borders. In the words of the PM the confidence and determination of the Armenian servicemen defending the state border keep sending positive signals to the Armenian society.
At the end of his visit to the military post PM Karen Karapetyan wished health and peaceful service to all the soldiers.
