Armenia receives humanitarian aid totaling to $44 million
According to the data of the customs declarations provided by the State Revenue Committee adjunct to the RA Government, in January-November of 2016 7.510.3 tons of goods has been imported to Armenia as humanitarian assistance. The aid makes up 21. 236.6 million AMD or 44 341.0 USD.
As the RA National Statistical Service reports, 52.2 percent of the assistance made up chemical products, as well as the products of the related industry sectors. The textile items made up 14.4 percent, 7.3 percent of the assistance was various industrial products. Vehicles, equipment and mechanisms made up 6.8 percent, 5.4 percent was instruments and apparatus, and 13.9 percent made up the rest of the goods.
20.7 percent of the volumes of the provided humanitarian aid has been received from the US, 23.9 percent from the European Union countries, 17.4 percent from Switzerland and 14.3 percent from China.
