Tavush Diocese members celebrate New Year in military unit
Primate of the Tavush Diocese, His Grace Bishop Bagrat, Father Aram, together with a group of young men visited bordering military units to celebrate New Year with the servicemen. Later they headed for the military post to congratulate the servicemen defending the frontline.
As the official website of Tavush Diocese reports, His Grace Bagrat has noted the following in his speech:
“Tavush region has the longest border of our country_ over 350 kilometers which is defended by our hero servicemen. We rightfully call it the gates of the Armenian country_ World of Hope, the greatest guarantee of the invincibility of which is our victorious and brave heart army forces, as well as our courageous people of the bordering villages. I want to congratulate our victorious and peacekeeping Armenian Army and thank them all from the minister to the serviceman for their devotion and sacrifice for the sake of their love towards their motherland and God. I want to thank their parents and families and wish safe, secure and peaceful service to our servicemen. We pray for our hero and fallen soldiers who we owe for our peaceful days. And we bow our heads in their memory and to their families.”
