Russian singer Albina’s song blocked for plagiarism
BIGBANG fans around the world are in an uproar after discovering that Russian singer Albina released a song that appears to be a copy of Taeyang’s “Eyes, Nose, Lips,” the Soompi.com reports.
The song by Albina, titled “I Love You,” was released on December 28, 2016, while Taeyang’s “Eyes, Nose, Lips” was released in 2014. While many other plagiarism accusations are cause for dispute among fans and non-fans alike, there is little question among netizens that the melody and instrumental of “I Love You,” outside of minor changes, is the same as “Eyes, Nose, Lips.”
In the description for the music video of “I Love You,” for which comments are now closed, Albina is listed as the songwriter and composer.
Currently the video of the Russian singer is blocked after the announcement made by YG Entertainment on copyright violation.
The comments under Albania’s video on Youtube are hidden and the number of dislikes increase at any moment.
As for Taeyang’s “Eyes, Nose, Lips”, we want to state that prior to this incident, it has already been listened by millions of people and it has held the top of the charts
To note, the Russian singer should not announce so indifferently that she is ready to face a trial regarding the case, as Taeyang is a member of BIGBANG South Korean boy band, which is one of the most famous bands worldwide. And the court of the South Korea is currently considering the case of the president subjected to impeachment and her friend.
